POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Howard Hughes Corporation is searching for Conference Services Supervisor for The Woodlands Resort.  The hotel is located in the award winning master planned community of The Woodlands, Texas 45 minutes north of Houston. The hotel features 402  guestrooms.   The area around the hotel is home to multiple Fortune 500 companies, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
 
The Conference Services Supervisor will supervise and complete proper and timely set-up of conference meeting rooms and banquet events.  
 
 
 
DUTIES OR FUNCTIONS
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
  • Pass any information to staff members of any changes in a room set.
  • Ensure that meeting and banquet rooms are set for the next event.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of all meeting and banquet equipment’s.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Conference Center.
  • Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to Conference Service Manager, Conference Planner, and Catering Planner.
  • If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness positions for any possible site inspections.
  • Perform an annual inventory of all conference services and banquet equipment’s on property and give to Conference Manager for review.
  • Provide all group guests with a lasting experience of the resort with intent for return business.
